Chosen Leadership Academy (CLA) provides wrap-around services for the whole family. This includes engaging parents, guardians, and students.
CLA believes education and parental interaction will improve family dynamics such as self-esteem, respect, and positive social-emotional health.
The physical wellness, sports, and health program trains students to increase their endurance, strength, and critical-thinking skills. This program demonstrates team and relationship building. Students are given financial literacy and vocational skills through community partnerships.

We are fueled by purpose to help youth explore explore and activate theirs. Through mentoring, tutoring and teaching teamwork, we guide youth to build internal strength and confidence that extends to external skills. Our mission is to support a lifetime of fulfillment, motivation and success for each young person.
Meet our Founder
Tyris Rorie founded CLA to remedy the lack of access to wrap-around services for students and families in crisis.
He is building community partnerships with local schools, colleges, health and human service agencies.

Education happens within the context of a larger community. Our approach extends beyond the school to help ensure students have the necessary support to do their best learning.

1st Annual Youth Mentoring Football Camp
The camp was a success! We believe it’s important to expose youth to opportunities that exist beyond their immediate environment. This camp was held at Thomasboro Academy.
Our work is at its strongest when young people feel grounded in their identity, understand who they are, have a vision for where they are going, and a network of support to help them get there.
For some young people, models of healthy relationships and community are readily available. For other young people, healthy relationships may have been damaged or communities challenged.
Chosen Services recognizes the value and the power of something that seems so simple, but whose impact is so great; building relationship, building family, building community.
